Severe Symptoms Requiring Immediate Care
Seek immediate medical attention if you develop severe diarrhea or vomiting, leading to dehydration. Signs of dehydration include dizziness, decreased urination, and dry mouth. Also, contact a doctor if your symptoms worsen significantly or don’t improve after 72 hours of amoxicillin use.
If you experience unusual bleeding or bruising, or notice any signs of jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), seek medical help at once. These could indicate serious complications requiring prompt treatment. A high fever accompanied by a rash is also cause for immediate concern and warrants a doctor’s visit.
